— Who I work with

Places people choose
for how they feel.

If the room is the product, the photograph is the storefront.

Boutique hotels

City stays in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and coastal properties on Egypt’s Sinai. Rooms, suites, common spaces and the details you agonised over.

Lodges & safari

Hoedspruit and the Greater Kruger, through to Namibia and Botswana. Light that changes hourly, and a property that has to look as good at 5am as it does at golden hour.

Airbnbs & villas

Listings that need to stand out in a grid of forty others — shot to look honest rather than staged, and built to work on a booking platform.

Retreats & wellness

Spaces sold on atmosphere and intention. Imagery that carries the feeling of the place, not just its floorplan.

— The work

Recent stays.

As a hotel and lodge photographer, I've worked with some epic spaces. Boutique hotels on the Sinai Peninsula, retreat spaces in the Lowveld, lodge experiences across the Greater Kruger, Namibia and Botswana. Each one a different eye, the same attention to light and atmosphere.

— What you get

Two kinds of content,
one visit.

Most properties end up hiring twice — a hotel and lodge photographer for the website, someone else for the feed. I shoot both in the same booking, so the look stays consistent everywhere a guest sees you before they book. Every gallery is built to work as hard on a booking platform as it does in a magazine feature.

— How I work on site

Remote doesn’t mean
a compromise.

Off-grid lodges, boutique city hotels, coastal stays reached by road — distance has never decided the quality of the work. I photograph a property the way a guest falls in love with it: slowly, in the best light, with attention to the details you agonised over.

Around your guests

No closures, no staging circus. I work quietly around an operating property and your team carries on as normal.

Built around your light

We shoot when each space is at its best, which is why I recommend two days at larger properties rather than rushing one.

Already on the road

I travel most of the year. If I’m already in your region the shoot costs you less — see where I’ll be.

— How it works

Straightforward
from the first email.

01

Tell me about the property

Where you are, how many spaces, and what the images need to do. You’ll get a plan and a fixed figure — no hourly surprises.

02

I travel to you

We shoot around your light and your guests. Two days is recommended for lodges and larger hotels; smaller stays usually take one.

03

You get everything

Social content first so you can post immediately, then the full edited set within 15 days — licensed for your own marketing, everywhere.

— Questions

The practical bits.

Do you travel to the property?

Yes — that’s how I work. I’m based between the South African Lowveld and Dahab, Egypt, and I travel most of the year. Travel is quoted transparently, and if I’m already in your region it costs you less.

What does a property shoot cost?

It depends on the size of the property and how much we cover. Lodges and larger hotels start at R10 000 per day, with two days recommended so every space is caught in its best light. Smaller stays and Airbnbs are quoted individually and come in well below that. You’ll always have a fixed figure before anything is booked.

How long do you need on site?

For lodges and larger hotels I recommend two days — a single day rarely catches every space in its best light. Smaller stays and Airbnbs usually take one.

Do we need to close rooms or stage anything?

No. I work quietly around your guests and your team, and I bring my own lighting so we aren’t waiting on perfect conditions. You’ll get a short prep note beforehand — nothing elaborate.

When do we get the images?

Social content comes through first so you can start posting straight away. A first selection of stills follows within a week, and the full edited set within 15 days.

Can we use the images anywhere?

Yes — commercial usage for your own marketing is included. That covers your website, booking platforms, social and print.

— Enquire

Let’s talk about
your property.
